This is my best friends ride. Hes stationed in South Korea and doesnt have the time nor the access to post up some pics of his rig. Right before he shipped out he handed me the keys so the least I can do is take a pic or two and share it with others. Hes known as "Hot Dawg" on here.

1982 Chevy stepside 4x4
D60F, 14FFR, 4:56 gears, Custom made H1 rims with 37" rubber

Heres a shot of the Dana 60 and the crossover steering

A better shot of the crossover and the homebrew "hot dawg fab" front airbag suspension

And of course the goods, the 4bt Cummins:
Pump maxed, Timing maxed, Denny T power pin, POD's, HY35/9cm, 12V exhaust manifold lobbed and welded, "HD fab" Intercooler with "HD FAB" intake pipes....

Getrag 5 speed with a Dana 300 xfer case

This thing has been a blast to drive. Its got tons of power (several "V8" kills)
and all the while getting 25+ miles per gallon

Yes, it probably was on a job in Dripping Springs. I'm from Dripping Springs, but I go to college in Stephenville. That is my dad's truck and it is the only one like it so it had to have been his truck. I can't believe someone actually knows of Dripping Springs!! Are you from that area also? If so, you will probably see it around from time to time because he does general contracting around that area.

Randy, thanks for the compliments on the trucks. My dad's truck is still a work in progress waiting to be finished, but one day it will be as clean as mine.

Dawson

Exclamation

Nominating time is over so I'm locking this thread and will post the poll later on today after the three candidates are randomly chosen.

Good luck to all of you that posted these fine examples of "Engineering Expertise"!
