Feb Truck of the Month
Shovelhead, Dieseldude4x4 and myself are pleased to announce the Truck of the Month for Feb is Hired Guns 1999 3500
Here is Jared's reponse to being the Feb TOM:
Hired Gun1999 Quad Cab Dually (black)
Bombs include a South Bend Con fe, Edge Ez, TST Power Max 3, DD3's, and a Carter Pusher pump (to be installed by R and R Diesel Performance.
Inside goodies include a Pioner Premier sound system with 2 10 inch subs inside a factory matched box under the rear seat. With a 12 disk changer. Cobra ltd 25 cb to go in when the weather breaks.
Outside goodies include a set of Westin nerf bars, Westin Grill/brush gaurd combo, projector head light covers, APC tail lights, chrome body moldings, a KEY rear bumper with back up lights (10) inch drop, Dual 5 inch stacks, a challenger tool box/cooler custom made cowl induction hood, and custom Cummins badges made from State police vynil from Sign Systems (Courtesy Shane Stevens) KY. State Trooper, and a set of billet grill covers.
Truck use:
I bought the truck new in 99. It is totaly loaded except for leather. When the truck started out it was plain. I immediately called Adkins and Son Custom Truck Accessories and began the outside pleasures. I use the truck as a daily driver to and from school. At home it hooks to a 25 ft. Corn Pro Trailer 5 days out of seven, and sometimes 7 out of 7 days a week. I haul anything that needs hauled. This has been the most dependable truck, and now the most fun driving truck I have ever owned. I am very happy with it. I would never recommend any other truck than one that has the CTD. I seem to attract attention when I go to big cities. Wait 'til they get a load of that black smoke coming out of the old girl. Thanks Justin for the injector change. This truck has taken shape because of the wonderful advice from the DTR members. Thanks for everything and keep the wonderful information coming.
