Probably one of those big west texas birds landed on it.

Surely someone had to of see this happen. I think hit-n-run in TX is a felony.

Some trucker ticked off at the price of diesel thought it was George Bush's truck.

I bet the guy that did it never knew he ran it over. We have 2k lb. rocks at work at the corners to protect the fence and I have gone close to 1/4 mile down the road 2 times to fetch the rocks with a forklift. 1 time it was a guy that just picked up a rental box truck. We immediately tore up the contract and sent him packing. There is 2 huge 3ft wide x 5 ft high concrete columns at the local Flying J and at least 2 times a month there is a trailer hanging off of them. Scary when you get down to it.

I'll have to agree with matego that the drive didn't even know he hit something. I would guess it was the duels of a 48ft or longer trailer that hit the parked pickup truck.

MAkes me wonder if the Tailgate was down and that's why the right fender is virtually undamaged. The left one is peeled open, just a thought.

OT- Why would we give you a hard time about the GWB sign? I mean, yeah, he's so far to the left he makes JFK look hardcore conservative...

Back on topic... I couldn't find a "crying smilie". This needs one.

Probably exactly what happened here. Can't get too upset - just call the police and let them write the whole thing up, likely the rig driver had no idea at all. Chances are, however that they can find out with the technology that's avalible today - remember the fuel station will have records and possibly cameras. The sign just makes it better...or worse...
