General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Post Essay Time

Well... it's time I do some writing. 500 words is nothing and I could write down a bunch of jibberish but I think I'll put 110% into it... even if it is only 10 marks, lol.

The topic I'm doing is none other than the Fuel Injection Pumps on our Dodge Cummins Trucks. I want some info on the variation and how it's changed over the years(from 89 to present). I'd like to start off with some basics then do a comparison.

There's also another little essay I need to do. This one though, for a Powertrain topic... I decided to go with the Tranny's that are put in our trucks. Again, I'd like to do a variation from past(89) to present.

So if you guys can find me some sources I'd be more than happy,
Mike

Can't go wrong with that one.

Just make sure you use your own words, plagarism would eat away your conscience,
not to mention it would be easy to find out.

Mike: Post your essay when you are finished. The IP's and trans are good subjects.

APOC I believe JD power had a review that had a lot of statistics of problems per hundred units comparing 48re/allison/torqshift. Might want to search for that, they are a source you could claim if any of the info was relevant.
