General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

No offense to you, but I'm not sure I want to be part of a chapter associated with El Paso OR Texas.

I figured you didn't choose it because your location says Ft. Bliss. I never ate any mexican food in El Paso but you MUST go north to Las Cruces and eat some REAL mexican food if you haven't already. Best stuff in the world. Some good restaurants are Chope's in La Mesa (southwest of Cruces), La Posta, Nellie's, and My Brother's Place. Chope's is cool because they serve 40's plus the food is spectacular. Looks like a dump (and kinda is) but don't let it fool you. The ones that look like they're about 200 years old and about to fall over usually have the best food.

Just be careful. I don't know where you're originally from or what your tolerance is, but their food is HOT. I can eat some really hot stuff despite being a white boy because I grew up around spicy mexican food.

Yup. I'm in El Paso.
And as for the Mexican food, the places mentioned in NM are great but there are LOTS of great places here in El Paso.

Yur kiddin', right?

The worst mexican food I ever had was in El Paso... At a restaurant that the Chamber of Commerce recommended that was only several blocks away from them.

Ok so one other place closer to Juarez was good.
