You may say what ever you want.... as long as its within the site rules. ;D
... brand bashing would not be a good idea regardless how many forums we have/do not have.

I figure the Dmax is a good engine. The truck is just too ugly. I would have looked at the Chev when I bought my Dodge but could not stomach looking at that angry truck in the laneway. Around here mostly older gentlemen buy the dmax. Work trucks are Dodge and Fords. That should tell you something.

I agree spots-I went in to look at the chevys and told the salesman it was the ugliest truck I ever saw. The GMC's are decent looking though. Then I got inside. POS. Then I looked at the Dodges ;D, it was all over. I love knowing that my motor is built like a brick outhouse, I don't race it, I work it. Pulled a 30 foot flatbed Ford out of the mud today in the driving rain, the thing must've weighed ,well, I dunno A LOT. I swear to you I could hardly tell my truck was working. Unbelievable. I'm so proud of my BEAUTIFUL BLACK TRUCK.
...how could chevy have let something that looks like that actually get made?

Have you seen an Aztec???? or the Tiger Woods mobile???? This is your brain (show a Corvette or some other nice looking GM product)
This is your brain on drugs (show the Aztec, Chev truck or Tiger mobile.. :P :P :P

Re:duramax comparison????

My personal opinion the Cummins is a better and more durable motor. Cummins pistons move straight up and down the duramax and powerstrokes move on 45degree angles. The cummins will have less piston scuff and a longer life. The Cummins is rated at a medium duty engine compared to the competition which are rated as light duty diesel engines. 8) 8) 8)

Re:duramax comparison????

Spots, you are correct. My truck has the "normal" front-end. I personally don't like the newer models.

As far as medium duty goes. The Duramax is available in the 4500 and 5500 series trucks. The Powerstrokes are available in the F-450, F-550, and I think F-650 (not sure about that one). Aren't those considered medium duty? :
