Dual fuel

With the price of gas & diesel going so high, why haven't we had an opportunity to use dual fuels? Both Cummins and Cat are working with truck mfgrs to build LNG/CNG engines with diesel at the start up. Mfrs in the EU have had them for several years.

Who does light truck conversions in this country? Space isn't a problem.

Dual fuel

There is a out fit up hear that does CNG conversions on Diesel engines. Westport Innovations. You can find them on the Web.
They work with Cummins. I have seen there Cummins big bore engine running on gas. It uses about 10% diesel as the piliot and 90% CNG as the primary fuel. They have converted some smaller engines as well.

INJECTOR JACK, aren't they the folks that pioneered this technology and have the Vancouver buses running on Nat Gas?

I read somewhere that the fuel cell is pretty darn stout to protect it in an automotive environment.
