It would be rather difficult to put a few truck tires in a Honda or a Pacer for that matter. Although easier in the pacer.... I need a full size pickup truck for my beater... Just considering the best mileage. Lighter running gear than the 6 cylinder and so on. Might try it. May do it in a different than Ram pickup.

Lets see now, a purple pacer, with a racing defroster scoop, four inch exhaust with a coffee can tip. Maybe spinner hubcaps. Might look right at home in some parts of Alabama....

first one should weigh the dakota. my brother-in-laws club cab weighs within 50 lbs. of my 82 1/2 ton with a 5.9 in it. with my mods i get 18-19 in town all the time. they both weigh 4400 plus. i think economy mods i could get 24- 25 in town empty.

Haulin - Sounds like a good idea. I saw a 4bt in a Jeep Wrangler once. It was sweet, and put together top rate. And that purple pacer with spinners would get jacked down here in Montgomery. BTW, I just ran up to Chicago and back, brought a nice show tractor back down. Only pulling about 7,000 lbs (enclosed trailer & tractor). I averaged 13.9 mpg (no joke). Course I was set at 65 mph ... I really hate paying for fuel at $3 a gallon.

I'm just curious about your fuel mileage. You probably are haulin' it as fast as you (safely) can though. But I'm curious.

Nah, condo cab, 13.6 high, 75 feet long, 500 hp N14, set cruise at 65 to 67, sit back and enjoy the ride, no shifting. I get 7 1/2 to 8 average.

Pacer's were wind-tunnel designed and are still some of the most aerodynamic vehicles around. They still were pretty tough, though. A lot more solid than Pinto's and Vega's...

Altough you can get the kit for putting the 4BT in the Gremlin, wheras I think the Pacer would be a lot more difficult since you couldn't use a Jeep frame.

And I swear that I specified that you need a moped to get the PETA chicks. Gosh people, would it kill you to listen?

Cuz it doesn't have a Cummins!

And, what's wrong with an AMC? I have an Eagle parked out in the pasture. With roof peeled back it makes a great hay bin.

Why would you need a moped??? I would think anybody that goes to a People for the Eating of Tasty Animals meeting would drive a truck.... Where else are they gonna throw that deer they just shot? What am I missing?
