Diesel Prices in Mexico?

Anyone know what Diesel is going for in Mexico? I live about 125 miles from the border, and wouldn't mind making a weekend out of it to get some authentic Menudo (the soup, not the band.)

I could borrow 4 or 5 55 gallon drums from my Father in Law and haul back enough fuel for a couple of months. I just don't know what the price differential is. Diesel is going for $2.10 - $2.15 here in Phoenix.

Also, are there any regulations that would prevent me from crossing the border with or hauling a few hundred gallons?

TIA

It used to be that Mexican fuel was more expendsive but now it's closely tied to the US price in the 50 miles near the border.
Here's an article http://www.gasandoil.com/goc/company/cnl25007.htm

The cetane rating of Mexican diesel is in the 50s, much higher that 42 common in the US, more bang for the buck.
Don't think you would have trouble bringing fuel across in a mounted tank but 55 gallon drums may be a hassle. Remember fuel tanks are a hiding place of choice for drug smugglers.
