You guys remember the Banks sidewinder Dakota?
i thnk they had to cut a large chunk out of the cab to make it fit.

Thanks Merrick, interesting link. It doesn't really tell me HOW the conversion was done though. Oh well, I'll figure it out.
I've tried emailing Jeff, but I'm not getting any replies. I've pretty much decided to go ahead with the swap, but Christmas is coming so I'll wait awhile before starting. First step will be to find a good donor truck.I think a Gen 1 will do me. Take care.

If I remember correctly, I read an article on the wrecked DAK and it had the radiator mounted in the pickup bed.

I read on another site that the industrial/marine versions do not have a counter balancer, the truck version does and vibrates a lot less.
