Some people have no respect.
That stuff makes me realize more that it should be legal to kill some people.

Lol.
I mean those people.
They are so stupid, they don't realize that without equipment like that, they wouldn't live in a house like they probably do.
That's how backward people like that are.

I live in Alberta and never heard anything about that............

can't believe some people

but on a side note. Its not a D11 dozer, its a D6N low ground pressure. A D11 would dwarf that link belt.

I believe it is the carnage of a construction company based out of Fort McMurray in northeastern Alberta. They had their equipment on a site they were working on and came to work in the morning to find it like that.

Read about it in the paper a few days ago. It wasn't a big article.

Well, you get 18yr old kids operating equipment up there now. A few buzzes on the bottle or whatever they are on these days and they are totally destructive. Nothing to do in Ft. Mac but go into the bush and wreck stuff. Problem spills over to the Oil and Gas field too, only thing is they aren't aware of what Sour Gas is. That would take care of the "getting them" part..

Edson workers in tears over vandalism

The deliberate and widespread destruction of heavy duty equipment at a western Alberta construction site brought grown men to tears.

Overnight between Saturday and Sunday, one or more people entered an oilfield lease construction site on Johnson Road 25 km southwest of Edson.

There, the vandals used a large backhoe to damage equipment on the site, including five large gravel trucks.

"The five gravel trucks look like a war zone," said foreman Jacques Sylvestre.

"Grown men were crying when they saw it."

When they arrived at work on Sunday morning, employees found the trucks torn to pieces, their cabs smashed, and the backhoe partially buried in the dirt.

"I don't know who would do something like this, but it's a heck of a thing to come up on when you're starting work for the day," Sylvestre told the Sun last night.

Damage is estimated at more than $500,000.

A crew will be going in this morning to clean up the equipment debris.

The construction company's owner asked that the name of his business not be published.

Anyone with information about the crime, is asked to call Edson RCMP at 723-8822 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Well, Edson is far from Ft. Mac... That estimate is low I would think too, that D6 would be $250 on its own wouldn't it?

DodgeZilla, you'll be suitably impressed!

The damage has to be into 7 figure territory...
