Cummins Police Pursuit Truck

Seven minutes on dsl ! imgaine what pain I'd have to go through here on dialup Understandably I don't have the inclination or patience to ever see what all the fuss is over youtube either. A simple pic in some plain old html brackets, while still agonizingly slow to open, would be nice for those of us still stuck in the 20th century cause it sure does sound like a cool truck but I guess I'll never know

Just a question to the OP:
I see you are a LEO in Texas (Sheriff). From all I can see in the first video, the truck just says "Police", no locale, or Sheriff's markings. We have had a lot of cases here in the Dallas area with LEO impersonators pulling over young ladies. If it pulled up alongside me, I would assume it to not be an official police vehicle and likely would not stop. Is it legal in the state of Texas, as a LEO, to mark you POV as a "Police" vehicle? Just hadn't seen it done up here.
Just curious, nice truck

it is possible that the assigned department could be identified on the license plates.
Ohio does that with their sheriffs vehicles. the markings on the car are just standard sheriff markings. however if you look at the license plate and know what to look for you can identify the department or county. for instance, i live in Miami County, Ohio which is county number 55. so the sheriff license plates from Miami County would have 55 followed by the tag number.
it is also possible that the truck in the video could be a 'demo' model.
