Pretty impressive, no doubt. Wish I had money to burn like that!

This video is posted elsewhere on the site, and my thoughts on it are posted there. They are somewhat along the lines of all 3 of yours.

Ahhh I remember those days...used to scrounge through the take-off pile at the local tire place when we were younger to have a fun weekend at a show somewhere. I still have implanted rubber in the inner fenders from years ago....

4 new tires
+ (Fuel x Price Per Gallon)
+ hours spent scraping burnt rubber off fenders and rocker panels
+ risk of observer injury
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
= waste of time and resources.

Fixed that for you. Looks like fun and I'm sure the tires were scrap anyway. I don't know anyone who would do that on new tires, but I know plenty of people who have gone nuts with an old bald set about the be replaced.

Except for the kicking rocks up part I thought it was pretty cool. I would like to see the marks on the road after the smoke cleared!!!

If they were junk tires they went through some extra trouble to make them nice and black before they burned 'em up.
