98 to 2005 Chevy turbo diesels, 1 6.5 and 4 6.6s the 05 lly completly lost my loyalty. So I picked up my 06 CTD 2500 last week. I love it, the sound of the 5.9 is awesome, cant wait to get exhaust. Which leads me to the questions. Where do I start, all of my chevys where straight piped, just cut off the muffler. I had the Edge -Attitude for the computer. SO WHERE DO I BEGIN ?

 

do the same with your dodge,,lose muf., add edge(unless you wanna go big power sometime,then go tstcr).................bama

The third gens are not that loud, even without a muffler. The extra injection events really quiet them down.

 

tstcr is the TST fueling box designed for the Common Rail engine... it is supposed to be the cats meow....
