I have used the 780 case backhoe It has airbrakes,24-volt starter,3 speeds. I has a 6 cylinder Cummins. It had an aircompressor and manual tack drive. So if anyone wonted to install a manual tack on there engine that could be a way to do so.
It is a hoss of a backhoe. There there is the 580 and 580super 4cylinder, the equiment of today is a lot better off because of this engine. Lull, forklifts,
I have even seen a version of a water pump that has the Cummins on it. It is used on a dredge. Electric generators used by the military and others.
The 555 IMOP is not even close to being as good as the inline 6 5.9
They make a lot of noise and that is about it. Jim

I think that it's one of those black and white ones.

According to the questions at the end of the auction, it's a V6 Cummins and it doesn't look like it met reserve. Gonna take more than $6400 to buy it.

I saw something like that but was made with a kenworth? cab and etc in Bellingham washington a few years ago for sale. i found out that its hard to get insurance on a custom built truck. I believe it had a cummins in it. Sure looked cool and was heavy duty in everyway. Definately a labor of love that goes sour or a new project takes over. The next owner has to share the same enthusasuim.
