I noticed no listing for CUMMINS under truck turbos. I also noticed they call it the "Dodge Cummings" application under DODGE TRUCK TURBOS. I don't really know how reputable that makes them...at least to me...

Well judging by all the brands, applications and models listed, the fact that they misspell one word on the website that someone else probably created doesn't change my opinion. IMO the proof is in the product not in the presentation.

I've known guys that should really know better, like guys who've been trucking or wrenching on trucks for 30+ years, that couldn't understand "Cummins" to save their lives. They would say "Cummings", and I would say "Cummins", and they just can't hear the difference or something. Seasoned salts too.


Next on Monster Garage, I want to see a twenty-seven-turbo Cummins, sponsered by those guys.

True, very true. Language mistakes are a pet peeve of mine, especially when done on a business form or web page. I would be checking them out much more carefully, seeing if any members here had troubles with them, etc. due to the mistakes on their pages. I tend to look for higher levels of care that way...

Sort of petty, but sometimes it has been a very good indicator of the professional or serious nature of the business. Other times, it just arose from a frugal business owner who is trying out FrontPage to save several hard earned dollars and better the bottom line for his or her family. I definitely respect that...

Certainly no offense was meant toward the business, other than to offer what I saw as a possible "red flag" for me personally. I certainly hope they acquired that collection of turbo parts because they are good and busy selling and rebuilding turbos not just receiving/buying other shops' cores!
