cheap sounding front end rattle

hello. i have a 2007 ram 3500 w/ 5.9 4x4. i have a cheap sounding front end rattle cumming from what sounds like the drivers side. speed doesn't seem to have an effect, nor does the road, or whether its in 4 wheel drive. but it does not seem constant.

i have checked the steering linkages, i have checked the dust cover for disk brakes, i have even checked the drive lines for the noise. i have sent it to a repair shop, they couldn't find it either.

i dont know what else it may be, please help.

Check the heat shields on the exhaust. They could be loose, or gravel/debris can get in them.
