Caterpillar calls it quits

Starting 12/31/2009 CAT will no longer supply on-road engines to anyone.

They are getting together with Navistar. Navistar and CAT will build on road vehicles with Navistar engines.

CAT will continue to grow the off-road business with it's own off-road engines.

They will continue to build on road engines to supply to other countries . The 2010 emissions weren't worth the trouble .
