Sorry for getting hot around the collar. But after the initial post, another person posted that they knew that GM was testing a Cat. Which is not true. They have had Cat's for a long time in the medium duty's but they are currenely NOT testing a Cat in the little trucks.

Call the kettle black!<br><br>The Cat won't fit in a 2500 or 3500 in the model year that it was introduced? Back that statement up!<br><br>Ford doesn't own Cummins? I know that cat did give GM a couple of motors to try, after cat told GM that they would not warranty the motors because GM could not cool the motors properly. GM then told cat that they have sufficient cooling, so Cat decided to give GM a chance, after a couple of motors GM ran them and sure enough they didn’t work., Then cat pulled out of giving GM a chance to put there motors in GM. I know this much to be true, this happen in the year of 2003. I personally know this, and know this is not rumors. It’s a Fact. All of which came from CAT machinery Inc
