Blown head gasket???
Is it possible to remove the head without removing the injection nozzles from the head. Also anyone who knows anything about isuzu diesel's is more than needed to jump in.

SuperTrooper, while I've never done it myself, I am told removing a cylinder head on a diesel without first removing the injectors is a definite No-No, at least on the Cummins. Someone with more direct knowledge can expound more on the subject I'm sure!

If you want to do it right, take freezer bags, mark them #1 through #6. Remove the rocker assy and push-rods, marking the bridges and push-rods for which one was in front. Put them all in the bags. Then remove the injector which is only another minute or two at that point. When reassembling you will have all the parts where it came from. When doing it this way you will find that the valve adjustments are all right about the same as before removing it. I cannot speak for the 12v but on the 24v, the tip of the injector will be lower than the head surface and will get hit as soon as the head is moved.
