Biodiesel burn hotter?

Have been running a some b20 mixed in with regular diesel and seem to notice that the engine is running 5-10 degrees hotter. Just changed yhe coolkant and power washed the radiator. Any one else have this experience.

did you fold the fins on the radiator over from using a power washer to clean it??? Never use a power washer on your radiator, A/C condenser or intercooler.
I doubt the bio has any thing to do with it..if anything it should run cooler on bio cause bio has a lower BTU rating then #2 diesel...

I run cooler egt's with b99 on bio- also get 2mppg less and they raised the price $.50 per gallon over #2

It made sense to run it at an even price when I factored in no Power Service add. cost, but at this $ it doesn't wash...

I always use a pressure washer to clean bugs, road grim, and other things that end up on there. I have never moved the fins on there. They are all still straight. I run Bio and don't notice a difference. Maybe it's time for you coolant change?
