Convoy was one of the best. There was one about construction equipment, dozers, etc., on an island where they "came alive" and started operating on their own, and chasing the people around. I think they uncovered a meteor or something.
Loved the Movin' on, show too. How about "Coast to Coast" with Robert Blake and Dyann Cannon? He even named his truck the old "Grey Ghost".
Black Dog was pretty good too.

When are they gonna make a movie about diesel pick up trucks? They made one about those stupid ricers. There are a lot of diesels out there that could smoke those cars!

The Plymouth Valiant sales must have dropped considerably after the "made for tv" DUEL film came out.

I still love the slant 6 though.

Wow i'm amazed, nobody remembers "Thunder Run" ?? Who could forget that fire blowing beast of a Kenworth, with the stacks that were like 25 feet tall or something, lol...I remember that movie when I was kid. I recently bought the DVD of it from overseas...it's not in print here. I know i've seen convoy, but it's been so long I have forgotten all about it. I own Duel, and I think that's gotta be my favorite so far. Also that terminator scene rocks!

I don't remember the title, and I think it was a made for TV movie. It starred John Shnieder, and Tom Wopat ( Bo and Luke Duke ). Wasn't that great of a movie, but they drove a pretty sweet yellow KW. Smokey, Convoy and Duel are my picks, didn't really like White Line Fever.

Honestly I remember that Yellow KW and the movie, i'll try to look online and see if I can dig up info on it. Didn't they call the truck something like "yellow bird" or am I just drunk? lol

Not the best diesel movie, but I really liked Breakdown with Kurt Russell and the late J.T. Walsh who drove that black Peterbilt.
