Auto body work question... sorta

i was wondering if anyone had any experience with body filler products like bondo. is there any better products out there? this will not be used for automotive purposes but rather on steel door frames. I work for a company where we install commercial doors and door frames. we are looking for a product to fill dimple support holes in the frames. We currently use bondo but it is a pain and not user friendly. Money is not an object here we looking for something that will save us time and do a better job of blending and feathering out.

How deep are these holes? If they are about 1/8th" you should be able to use spot putty. Bondo makes some that comes in a tube that you squirt out and spread over the holes. Once it sets up in about 20 minutes you sand it smooth with 300 grit.

I think a 1/4" might be a bit much for spot putty. The 1/8" deep holes should be alright for spot putty though. I know that autozone carries the stuff in their autobody area.
