just bought a set 305 65 17 E rated running on stock 07 rims,BUT they a very spongy on lane chang and turns not happy with these tires.what would be a better choice .these are not the directional tires.looking for a good mud/street tire.

 

I ran a set of 315/75/16 's out, I did't have a problem with them. But they will be the last directional tire I buy, I don't like to rotate tire's having to keep them on the same side of the truck.

 

I have a set, and will not have another. Too loud, soft, and slippery in the rain.
