I have never ordered anything from them, called them, emailed them or anything that has to do with them. I must be a pretty good valued customer since never giving them a penny.

 

All I have is a used High Ram and its nothin special...

 

I run the Technicooler and the TwinRam intake on my 1st gen. Both work quite well as expected.

Never got the Email. Go figure.

 

the poll should differentiate between people who hate banks products because they've had issues using banks and those who hate them because they read threads that tell them to. i'm not promoting their use, but some people started using banks years ago when you did'nt have 20 exhaust company options for ctd's and you were happy for any options you had to mod your truck... oh and i like donuts too.

 

Now back to these donuts!

 

I agree,,,, this is one of the reasons we don't allow vendor bashing or someone posting threads on how Joe-Blow Inc. makes junk or rips people off. (I'm NOT insinuating that this was the intent of this thread because I believe it was not.)
Over the years, I have read plenty of posts where someone rips up a company or a product and then you find out they never used it. They read it somewhere,,,,, a buddy of a buddy said,,,,, etc.
Granted,,, there are bad products and bad companies out there, but there are also different strokes for different folks, plus what works for one may not work for all.
With that said, I don't agree with some of the stuff I've read or heard about Banks and I could never have gained the additional ponies I have, with the money I spent, versus the Bank's prices,,,,, but point being, I have never had any hands-on experience with them either. I will say that Gale Banks seems to have been one of the original pioneers in diesel performance and he is still working hard at promoting the benefits of DIESEL to John Q. Public along with pushing NHRA to allow for diesels to compete in several classes in the future. This is a good thing,,,,, right?


And BTW,,,,,,,, I like donuts too!!

Dare I ask what would make those 15 people hate banks products???????

 

OKAY, I'm not the brightest bulb - where's my tater-tots - but Banks must think we're idiots to want to replace anything on the best engine out there.

I'm not a banks "hater", but rather am wondering why they want to sell their stuff so cheap right now when the rest of the year they won't even give you the courtesy of a reach-around after your "purchase".

 

Looks like more people like Donuts than Banks.
