Anybody in NC that could help me???

First of all I'm kinda new to this site, i registered awhile back but forgot about it. Anyhow the guys at PS directed me back over here. I'm wanting to get me a set of gauges here in the next couple of weeks and i'm looking for someone who lives kinda close that has installed some before. I will be glad to pay ya to help, i just like to do stuff myself rather than take it to a shop and pay big $$$. Let me know if anyone can help! Later guys.

We have quite a few members in NC.
Which part of the state?

Welcome.

Welcome to the site, natstayl. I'm in Rocky Mount, probably 4 hours east. MikeD, in Winston-Salem, needs to install a fuel pressure gauge and Karl2500, in Charlotte, said he's got a lot of goodies to install. I'm thinking about Dynamatting my truck. Maybe we could all get together for a tech day. If this sounds good, send me an email at dwinnett@***.net. I'll see if I can get the ball rolling. Sorry about the late response, but I don't have much time to catch up on the site and never read the General Diesel forum. I just happened to have nothing to do today.

Okay boys, a couple of months later I finally have my gauges!!
They just got here this week! I got the Isspro EV boost, trans, egt , and mechinical fp!! If anyone who has installed a set of gauges before in NC let me know if you want to make a little extra money because i dont think i want to try all this drilling and tapping stuff my self!!! Maybe we could get together one afternoon on a weekend or something and put them in. I got one quote from a 4x4 place here and they said they charged $100 a gauge!!!!!!!!Thats more than i paid for them!! Let me know if anyone can help me out! Thanks guys!

Yeah, come awwn down! This really isn't going to be a "wrench-a-thon" where a ton of work is done, but more of a social gathering.

I'm planning on doing my tranny gauge in the hot line, using the 1/2" hardware store T...

P.S. I also have a 4.5" hole saw for any Scotty owners wanting the 747-engine-in-the-glovebox-mod!

Eskimo & Mcmopar-

Where is this get together? I did a search and couldn't find anything. I don't need any wrenching done now, but I'm up for a get together and to help those that do. Any info would be appreciated.

I am sure Jack would of rather had it that way ( a social event only) when his pusher pump install went south on his old truck.

How long ago was that?
