Automotive News said there was another recall March 9 on Liberty , Durango , and Avenger . I couldn't get the whole article because I'm not a paid subscriber . Anybody got the scoop on this latest recall ?

 

I have one for ball joints on my 04. I'm not sure if it is new or not. I got it about 4 months ago.

 

There was a story on the news this morning about that. The particulars weren't given but the problem could cause the vehicle to catch on fire.

The dealership replaced the ball joints on our 2005 Jeep Liberty yesterday, per the recall. I waited 1.5 hours for the work to be completed.

 

The Liberty and Durango recalled for electrical fires. The Liberty for the blower motor and Durango for behind the dash wiring.

I believe the Avenger for door strikers that wouldn't let the dome lights dim.
