Allison AT for Cummins 5.9

Was checking ebay stuff and came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cummi...QQcmdZViewItem Very interesting to say the least. Obviously it is a 2WD tranny, but I bet you could get a t/case for it somewhere and/or set up a divorced unit. Being that it is set up for medium duty applications, I would think that this would handle some power as well.

Stay well away from the AT545 Allisons. They were barely up to the task of handling the stock hp of the 5.9. IMHO and many other mechanics, they are one of Allisons worst transmissions.

All that trans is good for is a boat anchor. If you get one of those, better get a good neck brace or you'll need to go to the hospital when it shifts. Had em behind 366's and 427's in Chevy medium duty's, pure junk.
