Using a half inch ball valve to control the horn and all 3/8ths shop line for air lines. relays and compressors are mounted in the tool box out of the weather.

I used 2 tanks cause with dual pumps like Mike has, i can run air tools and actually fill up a 40" tire and not sit there all day.

I'll have to see if there are any big rig salvage yards around here. I have been looking for some horns that aren't $1200

Holy Crap! Seriously, I think I'd soil myself if that went off behind me.

Look at the 1180 kit under AirHornsofTexas.com Lot cheaper then 1200 for the same dual horn that Mack Truck uses, pluse you get compressue and tank.

I went straight to the K3LA with a real valve (Graham-White) and a nitrogen cylinder. No electrics on this one.

^ that is a serious setup there.^ lol

I picked up my set from http://www.hornblasters.com/
I got the conducter series with a 2.5 gallon compressor.

I mounted mine in the tool box and the horns directly underneath it. Everything is all mounted to the tool box. Pretty easy to remove if needed.

I only have a picture of some air horns I grabbed out of the scrap at work. Customer wanted them changed because the bolt mounts are kinda busted, I figured heck I'll clean them up and use them! Still need to get an air tank and compressor though.

They remind me of a medium/high pitch fire truck...they are quite loud for their size!
