'86 Ford L9000 w/ 400 big cam ?'s

I need some information.

We have the above dump truck here at work. When it's first started it is spraying oil all over the fan which really makes a mess. Once warmed up it quits spraying oil. It appears that the fan hub is lubricated by the engine oil. There are 2 oil lines (inlet and return?) that mount into a bracket which the fan pulley is attached to. There must be a bad seal there somewhere. Am I correct on this? I have no book to look at. Is there somewhere I can look at an engine brakedown on line.

Thanks.

I think the fan hub has a hydralic clutch for engagement and sounds like the seal is blasted. I think it runs on a thermostat in the oil system. Sorry can't help more with that.

I found out that it's a Rockwell fan hub, it's going to be changed to a Horton air operated clutch.
