Are you sure it wasn't a 3500 with 19.5" on it? If it is a 4500 I guess he'd have to have swapped a whole cab and matched the bed. That'd be alot of work for sure, but sweet.

that is not a factory option, it makes to much sense to sell therefore will not be offered.

Its prolly one of those trucks from that guy in Cali. He takes the megacabs and makes either a long bed single wheel or a long bed dually. They are nice and high dollar. There are a few running around here in Texas. They say you can actually get it from the dealer as an option but im not sure.

No they are done here in Texas. Man you would be surprized at what some people that have tons of money do to have what they want! An there might be someone closer to you that does the conversion too, thats just the first one i came across when searching

There are actually quite a few companies that do this. Not just in Texas. I would bet that any truck frame repair place could do this though. Large trucks have frames shortened or lengthened for a given body application all the time.

I had my Mega stretched in Lehi Utah. Its a lot easier to put the 4500 emblems on the 3500 then to do all the big changes. But as mentioned...folks can spend a lot of money getting/doing what they want. I think there is a company in Illinois that is doing it...at least that is what I was told last fall. Sorry, cannot provide a name.
I got what I wanted and it was very reasonable. It even came with an engineers DOT certified inspection!

Nah i dont think anyone that does truck frame repair would do it cause i work at a body shop an none of the body shops here in Killeen would touch it! Most of the high end shops that repair frames are doing it with computers and pre-measured specs. We use a frame machine called car-o-liner from sweden. So we couldnt touch that kind of stuff!

Interesting. I'm not talking a body shop though, if that makes a difference. I mean a commercial truck frame repair shop. There's a place by my house that deals mostly in OTR trucks and specializes in drivetrain and frame stuff. That's what I'm talking about. But it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong!

Do guys actually do the emblem swap? That seems more than just a little lame to me. If a guy wants a 4500 buy one. The emblems don't all of a sudden make it more truck anymore than putting Z06 emblems on my truck will improve it's quarter mile time. Besides, anybody that would be impressed by a 4500 pickup should know enough to spot one that's fake.
