24v VS. 7.3L

Well BigBlue and I decided to race Sat. night. BB in his 24v 4wd. And me in the Excursion 4wd.. Both of us not stock of course. We went down the street and turned around so we could start at the stop sign. So BB locked his in 4wd and I left it in 2wd. : (stupid mistake) Well I stalled up to 8psi. BB stalled to 1600 or so. He took off quicker than I did because I spun until the ground wasnt wet. We were both spin'n. I finally caught traction and spool'd to 22 psi and keep climbin till BB bumper was at my door and then I heard BB let off so I let off then we got the to top of the levi and then we mashed it from about 25mph and when we let off at 80ph, BB was at my back bumper. So the first race BB told me that I won. The second race was from 55mph and we were both dead even and spool'n to 25-30psi. I couldnt really tell all I saw was the needle pointed straight down. All in all, it was a good race. I have a feeling my TC helped me out on the 25mph on race. (lower stall than BB's stock TC) Well probaly end up racing again when I dont have tools in the back and we had all dry pavement.

Re:24v Cummins VS. 7.3L PSD

I forgot to tell yall what the X had at the time.
80hp chip.
400hp TC
4" BD-Power Exhaust
K&N A/F
Tires are 33x12.50x17 Procomps so that changed the rearend just alittle.
Its not much but it hung with BB when it had alot of tools in the back.

Remember, the only way the Powerchokes can make even slightly respectable power is by using drugs . The world's quickest powerjoke is only running high 12's. And that's WITH propane.

Ill let you know when is a good time. yea I know your truck is still louder and still sounds better but ya gotta give a ford credit when it can hang with you when its got alot of tools in the back and you have nothing in the bed. ;D :P
