Smile Which 2007 model, 5.9 or 6.7 ??

I'm concidering trading in my 2001 with 85k on it for a 2007. The dealers is offering the 2007, with the 6.7 and 6th speed auto trans for the same price as the 5.9 with a 4 speed auto trans. What is the biggest difference between the 5.9 and 6.7?. What would you do?.

Thanks

The 6.7 has a ton of emission stuff on it. From reading various threads they also don't seem to get quite as good milage.

On the other hand the 6 speed auto is really nice. The push button gear selector works well with the factory exhaust brake.

If it were me, if I wanted a manual, I'd find a leftover 5.9. If I wanted an auto, I think it might be worth putting up with the particulate filter and exhaust recirculation and the rest of that junk to get the new transmission...

Just my .02.
