12 valve VIN ID
Is there any way to tell by the VIN if a '98 is a 12 or 24 valve? Just wondering because I may be looking for one and if it is an online truck, it may be helpful to know what it is supposed to be.

Srigs, thanks tat looks like just what I was interested finding. It appears to me that if the 8th digit is a "D" it is a 12 valve & if a "6" 24 valve & a "7" makes it a "24 HO" (2001). Thanks.
