New Sub-Forum for #40
I guess I should have supersized the pic. Boy am I going to end up taking the flack on this one. When I quickly scanned over the thread it looked like a Chevy. After enlarging the pic, WA-LA, its a Dodge. Joseph, I don't think you'll pass many gas stations with that truck. Probabaly gallons per mile.
Len Looks good though!!!!!

Joseph,
that truck is pretty good look-in. I went from an 02 dually diesel to a gas burner 4 years ago and regreted every moment. Thats a tough transition and I could not wait till the day I got the opportunity to get back to a diesel. Also, diesel maybe the cheapest at the pump in the near future because of the production of bio-diesel thru corn and soy beans. (maybe wishful thinking?) Good luck
Len - no more masturbating..........its really messing with your eyes

,
Pappy over at DTR chapter 13 promised me I could join their chapter without ever being accused of buying a chevy.
Kevin this was all for you Bro' I wanted to motivate people to respond. All that said, here are a few of my thoughts:
- Swap the wheels and tires from the 1980 to my current truck and vice-versa then sell mine to one of the many local peolple that keep drooling over my 1991 to help pay for the 1980
- Change the gears in the 1980 to something a little higher say 3.07 - 3.55 - I have always wanted a four dour truck
- The 1980 is in almost new condition, even if it was a Katrina truck, everything has been replaced/rebuilt
- After school and when I have a job I will find a donor diesel and make the swap. I have seen one of these older crewcabs with a second gen. diesel in it and it was sweet
- The aforementioned would make for some great wrench days
Peace,
Joseph

Joseph, after school and when you get a good job, you won't have the time you think you'll have. Major surgurey for a truck. Especially if you need it for transportation on a daily basis. I blew up the pic and the truck looks really good just from the pic. I would like to see it up close.

Hey Joseph, your call. If it were me I would find a newer four door truck and it would be a chevrolet with a solid axle swap. Yank the gasser out of it sell it to afford all the adapter kits then sell your truck (rolling chasis) and help offset the price of your newer truck with all the bells and whistles. JUST MY OPINION. I would love to have a crew cab as well and the late 90's Chevys were great looking trucks in my opinion. Have fun and Ill help if I can.
Ok! OK! I got the DYNO Day pictures uploaded to webshots.
