Power-service in B-100

I understand that Biodiesel will gel at a higher temp. Will Power-Service additive prevent this in B-100?

Yes PS works excellent with BD but you need to use more.
General rule of thumb is to use the label recommended rate plus the percentage of BD you are running. B5= label rate plus 5%, B100 = a double dose of PS.

Power Service also makes Arctic Express Biodiesel Antigel, which they say is meant for bio

Artic Express

I use a straight veggie oil blend in my Mercedes which includes Power Service. So far it has stayed liquid down to 20Deg F. Power Service makes an antigel for Biodiesel.
Here is the link: http://www.powerservice.com/arcticexp_bd_antigel.asp
For those that are interested in my blend
80% cold filtered veggie
10% #1 or #2 diesel
10% regular unleaded (must be regular not anything above)
The highest % mix on the Power Service bottle.
So far the car seems to love it. I’m on the 3rd tank full. The car really quieted down and runs very smooth and really likes a good highway run. This summer I might start the truck on a 10% blend and work my way up. I have gauges to monitor everything so it will be interesting to see how it reacts to the blend.
