Its been a while since there was a post on methanol prices.What are you guys paying for methanol?I haven't priced out a 55 gallon drum yet to see if the price went down from a year ago....

I got a quote from Downs oil last Friday- $295 + tax + $30 drum deposit/cleaning. I about pooped myself. Found a guy in Oceanside who had 5 drums at $215 each. Bought 2 of them.

Wow...Its gone up down south also....I haven't checked yet, but 3 years ago they wanted $300 for 55 gallons....I found a place that, one gallon jugs are cheaper than buying a 55 gallon drum...What a waste in one gallon containers...And no recyle program for them...

It typically goes up in winter and down in the spring since its derived mostly from natural gas here in the US.
Also as the dollar devalues youll see petro prices climb like other commodities.

Went to Memphis Motorsports park and they quoted me $5.50 a gallon. I DID crap my pants!!!!!
