Am surprised to here that in Seattle diesel is at $4.29 the highest I was 10 days ago and the highest price I saw was $3.99 and in Spokane it was $4.49. People in Spokane told me they had been told it was 50 cents higher in Seattle, that was untrue from what I saw when I was in Seattle 2 days latter so hate to see what the price is in Spokane at this time.

Thanks for the heads up JOEM, next time I head over to the Valley I will fill up first. Usually the Valley is cheaper than Prineville. The last time I checked our prices here was yesterday and diesel was $4.29. It goes up everyday!!

With the Southern portion of the XL pipeline now going ahead and the Northern portion soon to follow on a different route experts are predicting a rise in North American fuel prices to the International level. Not only will this mean higher fuel prices but also higher prices for everything. Don't get me wrong I'm for the pipeline I just don't see why the oil companies have to raise the price of fuel just because they can.

The Champion of the "Po Folk" in there now adamantly believes that we should be paying as much as the Europeans because it's "paying our fair share".

WHAT????? Bush has NOTHING to do with the present high oil prices Sir! Try looking at the situation in the Middle East with Iran
along with the oil speculators AND with our sorry POTUS NOBAMA stopping the Keystone Pipeline along with him also STILL not allowing the rigs in the Gulf to get back on line!

Filled up to the tune of $3.99/gallon near Nashville today.
Iran..yes, we've heard it all before, wwwwaaaaayyyyyyyy before! "Unstable conditions in the middle east" are to blame for higher fuel costs. Because the middle east has never been unstable before.(extremely severe sarcasm intended)
I'll go with the greed thing since our boys are out of Iraq and they can't use that b.s excuse anymore need to drudge up some other global problem so we can jack up fuel prices a bit early this year.
Yes, I to am part of the stick the fuel nozzle in your vehicle then turn and drop your pants and bend over your vehicle as the gas companies drive it home yet again. With me though I'll start passing the cost off to the clients. Sad to do and not good for the economy that seemed to be recovering. I have heard that if it hits $5/gallon that it could cause us to go back into a recession.

I have always thought this was kind of weird. I noticed that some gas stations that have the higher price (either it be gas or diesel) that more people will buy their fuel instead of from the station that is selling it cheaper (usually they are across the street from each other)! I'm not one of those, I choose the cheaper price. I use this to help me find the cheaper price in my area. Just add your own zip code.
