Jumped to $2.48 even though AK crude has dropped from $50 a bbl to $45. The state will be increasing the gas tax to help fund the government shortfall.

Between new taxes and same old excuses, diesel is $3.25 +- 4 cents around Anchorage. Filled up last night in the valley for $3.17. With the refinery fire in WI, I'm sure the price will spike again.

Double whammie in California. + 20 cents for diesel,12 cents for gas. Registration's going up anywhere from $35 to $175/year with more increases coming.
This was passed with no voter input. We need infrastructure upgrades and people will gladly pay if they know all of the money will go to it's claimed purpose.
Chuck the pork and the work could be accomplished at 1/2 price.
High mileage commuters will be paying $600 or more too directly impacting just those constituents they claim to represent. It's no wonder NorCal wants to bail.
Diesel is hovering around $3.79 here for Chevron.

Anchorage added an additional sales tax pushing their price to around $3.40. Out in the valley I can still get diesel for $3.16

Diesel fuel prices have been climbing a few cents almost daily now. My local cheap station has now caught up with Anchorage prices.

A year later, after a big drop in price is has shot back up to the same level in the last few weeks. Gas is even higher by 20 cents a gallon. Rumor has it, it's not an oil shortage or high per barrel price, it's the oil companies restriction refining to drive up prices.

I have seen between $3.07 and $3.20 a gallon around VT in the past week, depending on the station. The ones right by the highway are the highest.
