2.899 here Saturday, haven't seen that low in years.

Gas was 1.549 though........

 

Paid $2.499 last night, been dropping somewhat steadily over the last month or so.

 

Diesel is starting, in some places around here, to finally get closer to unleaded regular prices. I snapped a picture of the below article from The Wall Street Journal a few weeks ago about increasing retail gas station profits with lowering fuel prices. Mentions diesel profits are especially "skyrocketing." The market will rationalize this eventually (hopefully before oil prices go up). Its still a mess out there with diesel. One station near my house has diesel for $3.85/g with 87 octane at $2.40 while another has diesel at $2.30 with 87 at $2.25.

 

This was nice to see!

 

Same station, $2.45 today.

 

Diesel has been on a steady climb in the last month, now $3.40 a gallon. Gas has come up as well.

right in town on a corner there are three stations one is 3.39, one is 2.99 and the other 2.69, 1/4 mile away 2.52

 

Been holding steady at $2.79 here in Merryland.

 

Picked up diesel yesterday @$3.21 a gallon. At the same station, RUG was $3.35.

 

Just fuled up at $2.19 a Gal for cash price in Tidewater VA

 

DIESEL BELOW $3.00 A GALLON !!!!!!! WOW, haven't seen that for a coons age. $207 for 85 gallons of #2.

 

With the 'Paradise Tax' in full swing, a popular local chain is selling unleaded low-octane for $2.67. Like all stations here, they don't post their diesel price, perhaps to keep guys like me from shearing off their pricing-signs with our heavy plate bumpers and leaving a trail of sooty exhaust.

I paid $4.49/gallon, for eff's sake. It's like the Diesel Lobby hasn't been told that things have changed in recent months. Where do I complain? (other than here...)
