Fuel was still 3.289 at the local place.

The headwind was MUCH worse that I thought and the average for that tank came in at just under 16.5mpg. I'm pretty sure I've filled all the way to liquid up the spout the last 4 or 5 fills, and normally I get high 17 or low 18 on the same tow.

This is my only post tonight even though I have other stuff in "user cp" I need more sleep after getting up at 3AM yesterday!

 

I paid $3.23 last evening and filled the truck (1/2 tank) and my 6 five gallon fuel jugs in Opal Virginia.
Co$t $168.00......

Local prices are around $3.50 to $3.75 a gallon.

 

Paid $3.49 in Bowie MD. Read about $1.75 of that is state and federal tax. Just when does the tax payer get a break.
News said you could add about 39% more for fuel than last year for Holiday travel. I believe Diesel is a little more than that.

Paid 3.55 Friday for a half tank. Spent 69 on the money. Tonight I filled up at 3.55 a gallon at a different station and spent 60.55. I'm thinking a beater may be in order to deter 130 dollar weekly fillups.

Seen anywhere from $3.32 to $3.59 in and around Boulder County, Colorado. And winter is just now getting here, and I am not riding the motorcycle in sub 20 degree temperatures

This afternoon on the way home from work I seen it at $3.519 at a local Exxon station, this morning on the way to work same station showed it at $3.399. I'm just glad I only live 10 miles from work.
