I heard along time ago from an old timer that putting moth ***** in the fuel tank will help out on power and mileage.

Does anyone on this forum know this to be true???

When the fibers clog up the fuel filter or Injection pump and the engine shuts down......you'll get fantastic milage.......as long as you're going downhill.

I wouldn't try it in my $4,000 optional engine.

 

Moth *****=naphtha
Can work as a octane booster for gasoline but I wouldn't use it with today's diesel fuel.

i have a friend that uses moth ***** in the mix for his svo-with-additives concoction he uses. but thats about all i know about it. he uses like 5gal diesel, 5gal gasoline, some xylene, moth ***** to add to a 100 gallon tank. and some other stuff. i think thas too much trouble. i agree that it is better used in gasoline than diesels.

howes fuel treatment, sure is odd how they smell alike ALOT ALIKE!
