I drive tow truck on the side for a gas station/service station. I asked to buy diesel from him because he only stocks it for the tow trucks. He told me he would sell it to me for his price. Getting ready to fill up i noticed it wasl LOW sulfur not ULSD! Hooray 2$ a gallon and LSD is better than 220$ for ULSD!

How much better is LSD? May be worth the drive to buy all the time!

 

Depends on the engine. The first time I used ULSD I saw a drop of 1.5 mpg.

 

Flying J has LSD in the long haul truck pumps at many locations. I switched back to LSD about a month ago. Truck seems to run better and I picked nearly 1 mpg better.

By the way, I called my Mom (who lives up in Dayton) and told her "I was back on LSD"... She blew her top! LOL! I didn't even get a chance to explain the joke.

 

LSD is good for your truck, not so good for you.
