How to test Diesel fuel quality?
I have come upon a large quantity of diesel fuel. I don't know the age of the fuel, but would like to have it tested before I use it. Does anyone one of a test kit or a lab that could test the cetane level and other criteria of diesel fuel??? Thanks.

Put some PS and 2 stroke oil with it and let the good times roll. Make sure no water an continimates are in. Replace filter or filter as install in tank. JMHO

I've checked into it and it's way more expensive than I wanted to pay.
You can assume it's good unless contaminated, diesel fuel can last for decades. In fact the older the better, no EPA rules to mess it up.
If you can somehow agitate the tank then draw a sample into a grass jar then let it settle overnight you'll see if it's contaminated.
When you transfer it I highly recommend using a filter.
