1.99$ here, it was nice topping it off today, but I just thought to myself, ya I remember paying 4.60, so im going to enjoy my diesel budget while it lasts. Maybe buy a mod with the money saved...

Yup tell me about it !!!!!!!!!! The funny thing is that just the other day the price was $4.05 and it just dropped to $3.45 and not too long ago about 2 months it was $4.65!!!!!!!!!!!! Last summer and fall I paid $5.70 per gallon !!!! The only thing that makes keeping my truck is I can go 1 month on a tank load of fuel!!!!!!!!

$2.00 in Central Wisconsin. Not really sure when to expect price to begin reverse back up as OPEC continues to restrict production. Current trading range on oil is between $40-45 per barrel but those cuts are starting to affect current supplies. Talk is to get oil back between $60-70 per barrel. One thing that should be eliminated are the hedge funds and speculators from buying and retricting oil from market for later delivery. Believe me I am not looking for it to happen any time soon.

I dont think this will last for long. Not because of the price of oil, but but because once federal spending ripples through the markets the dollar will devalue.
There is also the prospect of more state and federal taxes on fuel, so keep an eye on your representatives and dont be afraid to call and write them if taxes are up for vote. diesel is the lifeblood of the shipping industry and if they tax it more theyre going to make it harder for this economy to recover.
We havent seen much of a drop up here because its still heating season. Its still 2.40.

$1.95/gal in Dallas, TX. A far cry from last summer when I went to Moab and paid $5.09/gal there and back. Fuel alone cost over $1,000 for that trip.

Yeah, don't you just love the way our wonderful government works. They tell car manufacturers that they have to make cars that get really good gas mileage which equals to less gas sold because the cars get better mileage. Now they want to tax gas more because they are not selling enough gas. ***?
