Dirty Jobs
On Discovery Channel today,Dirty Jobs did a very nice piece on a bio-processor in Bellingham Wa.Guy was using 3 275 gallon squares stacked on top of each other for storage/mixing, and a 55 gal.drum for heating up to 165 f.Then I had to leave and missed the rest of the show.Anybody else see this and what did you think of his processor?
I saw that. To me his processer is more complicated then it needs to be. Granted, I can only make 50gal at a time. But his setup looks like you need a terminal from a airport to fit it.
Plus, did you notice his "work area"? What a mess, oil everywhere.

I've never made BIO but it seemed like they skipped a step at the end. They only seperated it once and didn't "wash" the fuel is this normal?
Sure wish my 3rd gen was as tolerable of BIO as the first gen trucks...I'd consider learning how to process the stuff then.
Dirty Jobs is a cool show btw...Mike Rowe seems like he'd be a fun guy to hang out with.....he's a crazy actin' fool for sure, but what do you expect from a Ford guy LOL!
