My dad owns a service station around Butler PA, and hes basically the cheapest and its at 3.89 right now. They BP company told him they would be selling it to him at nearly 3.96 next week his cost! And he will be selling it at 3.98 a gallon. This is just crazy anymore.

yah, i paid 3.79 the other day, im back to driving my girls jettabut fuel is .30 cheaper adn it gets close to 30. Hey look at it this way, if your forced to get a pos gasser car, at least our old trucks will see less use and last longer. Im only using my truck for firewood or work related purposes only now. no blowing black smoke through town to **** of the yup lib's any more.

diesel is getting rediculous, someone should start a home made bio diesel station , and sell it cheap, he'd have my business. luckly i have not been home much so no fuel costs at the moment, but not looking forward to when I get back, I'm getting 13-14 right now

Just fueled up at $1.22/litre! This is freakin' BS man! When ya hear stuff like Exxon pulling record profits last quarter, yet fuel prices are through the roof it makes ya wonder if/when anyone will step in
I gotta get a line on Bio. This is ridiculous

Gutterslug, where'd ya fill up. I filled up last firday for $1.089 haven't looked at the prices since. But you gotta go east of Aldergrove, I think the edge of Aldergrove is the end of the gvrd so anything past there has less tax and is usually 5 to 10 cents less.

Just an attempt by the fuel companies and the people who purchase oil futures to make a profit. Just think --- it takes less $$ and less effort to make diesel than it does to make unleaded supreme and you pay more for diesel.........

And if you REALLY think about it, everything you purchase, at one time or another, is hauled on a truck. So even if you don't own a diesel burning vehicle --------- you're still paying for diesel.

It seems this country is pushing for diesels because of their efficiency and then hammering us over the head with costs. The fuel is expensive, the maintenance is costlier than gassers, the initial purchase is way higher. Right now I don't understand how someone can look at any diesel vehicle (other than longevity of engines, or for the bragging rights and many will never use up a diesel engine till it's done) and say "oh yeah I'm gonna buy one". It used to be even last year that diesel and gas prices would go back and forth as to which was cheaper. Accordingly I would run on what was cheapest. Now, gas has been leading the race for quite sometime. Here, in NJ this year diesel has stayed about 40-50 cents higher than gas. Diesel has been a consistent $3.40- .50/gal. Right now it is cheaper for me to run my Hemi. The gasser is gettin 10mpg, the diesel maybe 16 in the winter months, but I do no highway driving. My diesel is just sitting there, because it's not practical to run right now, figuring in the electric to keep it warm at night, oil changes, etc. How can this country encourage diesel and not make it favorable to the consumer? I realize they will consume less fossil fuel over time vs. a gas engine, but it's not enough, especially when the new 6.7 owners and all the new gen diesels aren't even getting good mileage anyhow. Most New Jerseyans don't have a long commute or have to drive far to get to their destinations, so those highway mpg ratings are out the window. It is sad because I love driving my first gens.
