True or not, once upon a time diesel used to be cheaper than gasoline.

Not only that, but the last time we saw 60 dollars a barrel (over a year ago), the price gap between gas and diesel was NOT >1.00 like it is in some areas now.

I think that's where a lot of outrage comes from, mine included.

Here our diesel is 4.49 at the cheapest place and up to 4.76. Although the price has dropped from the 5.51 not that long ago. AND WE'RE STILL AN OIL EXPORTING NATION!!!!

Please ask me how that makes me feel...

Yesterday diesel was $3.18 and gas was $2.08. I did see it for $2.99 in southern, MN. I do recall back in 2005 when diesel in Iowa was still 10-15 cents a gallon less then gas. Then along came Katrina and diesel all of sudden cost $1.00 or more per gallon the regular gas.

Yep, I was out in Mtn. View/San Jose/Sunnyvale on Tues-Wed and I saw diesel as low as $2.89, unleaded was $3.09. How come only in CA is this the case? It's still $3.39 at my local station here in IL.

Reg gas is 2.20-2.35, diesel is 3.55-3.79. Funny how demand is down and fuel prices are falling but Exxon/Mobil posted the largest profit ever made by a US company in a single quarter, 14.6 billion dollars last quarter.

It's not funny or hard to figure out with diesel being a dollar or more higher than unleaded and their costs for crude have dropped so much faster than the retail prices for US !!!!!!!! It's still the SOS for them rake in the profits in fact it is even better now for them since they are making more and people are complaining less because the prices have dropped at the pump .

Anybody that see's that figure for the last quarter and even thinks a little about it should be mad as _ell and not buying anything from Exxon/Mobile !!!
I SURE DO NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
