Diesel dropped $.20 a gallon

On Monday I paid $1.76 a gallon. That's down $.20 a gallon from last week??
I know Oklahoma always seem to have near the lowest price in the country.
And I'm certainly not arguing with this latest drop.... just seems abnormal and too dramatic. Wondering what's going on??

As of today (Thursday)... no similar drop in North Texas.

its around 1.97 here, never thought i would see the day of it below 3.00 per gallon, let alone 2.00. just waiting for it to drop below the price of regular. looks like this summers camping trips will be alot cheaper, last summer a fill up of 60-70 gallons cost $300+, that was hard to swallow.

Wholesale oil went up 4.73 cents today so you can bet diesel will be on its way up with in 7 day. Oh I see gas went up 11.45 cents today. At close wholesale prices for gas was $1.2812 and heating oil was at $1.285.

The reason for gas and heating oil going up today was: There are some expectations that this spending will stimulate consumption and eventually bring supply and demand back into balance.

$1.97 here in North Iowa. $1.75 for regular unleaded. Just happy to see the price back down where I can afford to drive my truck again.

Gas is 1.55 in Ozark Missouri and diesel can be bought for 1.85 to 1.89. I'm going to try and get my hay season red diesel bought NOW.
