Fuel Prices

Just filled up on Saturday at Hill Petro in Aravada. Bio was 3.05, regular diesel is 3.10 at the Diamond Shamrock near my house

It's funny how prices for Bio are all over the board. Just stopped today to get some B20 at $3.19 a gallon in the ritzy area of town no less, and they had #2 diesel there also at $3.37 a gallon, so go figure. Seems like people that live in other states are paying much higher prices, but I live in Tennessee were our governor is pushing renewable fuels hard so this may be the reason for it being cheaper. As for less mileage out of Bio I seem to be getting better, but this could be do to the fact that I just replaced my injection pump last week. I see consistent 20MPH Bio or #2 were before I replaced the pump I got 18MPH.

only reason BD is so expensive is that it is not part of our infrastructure like dino oill...once more refineries and stations sell it then I expect it to be lower as it will not be impacted by the oil market, terrorism in middle east or ******* dictators in Venezuela.

Cant happen soon enough...

At this time our local new Bio plant has shut down because the price of Soy oil is to darn high. If the price of soy oil stays high then they will either stay off line until the price drops back down to where they can make Bio at a reasonable price or if soy oil stays high they will have to charge more for the bio when they start back up. So now instead of the Middle East oil market calling the shots over the price of crude oil it will be the greedy American soy oil processors keeping soy oil high and that will keep Bio prices high.

The reason soy is so high is because most of the farmers switched over and planted corn because of the ethanol craze.

It must be the lubricity that allows you to go 2MPH faster using Bio...

I could not stand to drive that slow.
